The Customer & Enterprise Integration department is responsible for development and operation of DB Schenker’s strategic, centrally and worldwide used IT integration platform. This platform is the basis for the worldwide Schenker internal data interchange, as well as the communication with our external partners. To meet future requirements, and for the implementation of an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) to combine core IT applications with standard, common Services, we are looking for a
Senior IT Enterprise Architect:
Main responsibilities:
- Establish ESB IT Governance as a vital part of the overall Schenker Enterprise Architecture
- Contribute to the development of the Enterprise Architecture Framework
- Generate requirements for the ESB platform
- Establish interfaces between legacy / target applications and new services
- Programme Management for ESB implementation and global roll-out
- Presentation and optimization of Enterprise Architecture
- Definition of governance structures and processes
- Modelling of IT system integrations
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders within the company
- Close cooperation with the country organizations
Profile:
- Graduate degree in Computer Science or logistics/ relevant apprenticeship
- Several years of working experience in Enterprise Architecture / ESB-Governance ESB
- Knowhow of IT architecture standard frameworks
- Ideally, experience with operational forwarding or logistics
- Competence in both analytical / conceptual and hands-on practice
- Leadership and communication skills are important
- Fluent English and German
- Knowledge of more than one middleware product
